I thought the option of comparison sites would come up but some years ago I went that option and got a cheap deal through Hastings Direct and then had an absolute nightmare with them. My experience is that the lowest price in anything nearly always means the lowest possible service when you need it, so I guess I was going against my beliefs. I think I'll give LV a ring and have a bit of a winge and see what they say.

Easy. Old fart with a car far too powerful for his age and lives in Scotland where it is ALWAYS raining or snowing! SAGA will have a small stroke with those odds...

I do every year, use Quidco at the same time just when I saw those prices thought I’d give them a try, won’t be doing that again

Try SAGA. I locked in for 3 years at £240pa. Fully comp - legal cover - £100 excess - protected NCD - 8000 miles per year.

My wife’s 22 plate X2 MESH 2.5e £190pa on same 3 year deal. Same cover level plus business miles as well!

Cant fault SAGA and you can talk to someone quickly if needed as well as manage online.

Fully understandable then, shocked it’s as low as £1500

Ages with you so would have to agree, I drive like Miss Daisy snow and rain hones your driving skills in a Z4 insurance companies have had many things over the years when I’ve been buying insurance, including strokes

Yep just renewed with SAGA on the 23i (fully comp, protected NCD etc.) £180

Wasn’t me Rick but I’m sure yours is so low as they’re only covering you for fire, theft and 200 miles pa

And to settle one other argument.... What is not covered - Loss or damage caused by theft or attempted theft if you leave a window or sun-roof open.
The number of people I see who park their cars with the top open (all makes) and then walk away. Just need some drunken idiot to come along and do something stupid and you're stuffed!

And to settle one other argument.... What is not covered - most things. If they are covered the insurance provider will argue it until you hopefully give up, or pay half of the true value if you push it.
And then next year will increase premiums by 50% and for the next 10 years.
