2003 E85 2.5i supercharged, 101k miles. May not be driven every single day but certainly gets used 4 or 5 days out of 7, all year in all weathers. Hardtop on through the winter. Puts a smile on my face every time :D

E85 3.0si, 131k miles and run as a daily. I have covered over 13,000 miles since buying the car 18 months ago and it has proved extremely reliable. Planning to get the water pump done as preventative maintenance as part of the annual service next month.

At an average of 36.8mpg it has been surprisingly economical too!

We use the zed 4 as a weekend drive somewhere car for coffee and fun. It gets used top down everyday if possible but not for daily type runs i.e. work. Again fun drive and coffee and cake trips out to the moors. Only gets about 4000 miles a year and as it is only a 2.2 I'm not worried about it losing resale value if the mileage does increase as it probably will never be a sort after classic like the 3 litres will be.

I feel the categories are too narrow. Can I have "Works Van"?

Voted for boys toy. I drive mine as a daily, weather permitting, during those four nice summer months we get, but have a daily as a backup. With the zed aging (as well as myself), tend to use the daily, which is a more relaxing cruiser, for longer trips as well. Sigh…

When I bought mine it was to be used as a daily; I sold my 6 series and switched to an E85. Then I bought a V60 in 2019 and daily duties were split in half, and the Z got a lot more use in the summer compared to the winter as you’d expect. Now the V60 is gone but I’m working overseas so the Z is in storage, so not being used at all :( coming back to the UK for a few weeks in July however so my dad is busy servicing and mot’img it for me so I can get a few uses out of it.

Can I vote both? Always have at least one E85 I use as a daily, plus wifey’s daily E85, but have a low mileage VO E89 which is very much a summer weekend car.

Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!

But you are quite a special case, in a positive way I might add
Mines a daily driver, about 16,000 miles a year, in another two years I’m contemplating getting a manual e85 3.0si for the fun and UK holidays and get a more practical car/SUV to do the daily miles in as my 88 yr old mum finds ingress/egress rather difficult in a two seater convertible
