Very top end of the price range for a non-M E86 IMO, especially as a private sale.
I personally would expect the history (MOT and service) to be lot better for the premium, no matter how good it looks.
But I ain't buying it!
As said above go and look, the only way to get a 'feel' for a car really.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

If it makes you feel any better I'm the 12th owner of this 102k masterpiece, and it's so much car for so little money.....drives beautifully.

Thanks....unfortunately I viewed it in the rain........collecting it a week later in the rain.....not good!!! The clearcoat was in very poor condition so I spent about 2 months doing paint corrections and eventually finished up with an amazing finish. There is just one deep scratch about 2 inches long on the bonnet that I can't remove but overall I got lucky. Funny thing was I'd seen this car on autotrader for months with a plus 100k mileage and 11 owners over 15 years so dismissed it , I'd also budgeted to pay up to 12k for a nice one, but this car (1 of 3 ) was the perfect spec I was looking for so when the price dipped in the 7k bracket I just through caution to the wind and went for it. With the money I saved I decided to spent a little on refurbishment ( it had a great service and mot history which was most important). The Coupe in my opinion is such a stunning shape, love it!!
