I processed the DVLA database as for the end of 2022..

Did a few manual interventions..

19,172 E85s/E86s of which 996 were Z4M

17,940 E89s.. of which 1225 were 35i/35is

1,558 G29s...of which 1187 were M40i

Ask as many questions as you like..no I can't do colours..

Soure data processed here..obviously how the cars were encoded is beyond me..

Very interesting data. It looks like I'm one of 274 currently on the road, not the most popular spec.

According to that info ours is 1 of 91 with it being a manual 35i msport.
Taking colours and spec into consideration there can't be many exactly like ours.
Black with black interior, every extra except lumber support in the seats and no adaptive suspension.

Black overall represents about 1/3 off all E89s..

Pass..I'm looking at the DVLA database not a V5..a V5 doesn't have as much data as the DVLA database holds..

I’ll go and have a look at the log book!

It’s in the DVLA description …? I know I had a major eye op and was partially sighted for a while but I can see it….

Yes, I get that… my “how do I tell?” question wasn’t aimed at you specifically, or the spreadsheet… it was more me trying to identify exactly which category my car falls into.

Looking at the spreadsheet, the main comparables for me are manual Msport + Msport highline of which there 225 in total.

Hope that makes sense.

I’m not sure what high-line adds :tumbleweed:

Good to know, so the only bit of all that spec mine doesn’t have is effectively the gloss black grills.

Love this, Peter! I knew the E89 23i was only available from launch for 2 years (being an older 6-pot carryover) but only 209 of them in auto box M-Sport guise? And 10 SORN? Love that! I feel exclusive. Frustrated I missed out on the smart roof module earlier… oh well… going to share the news with the car. Is that weird? A
