I recently lost the near side washer cover courtesy of a passing pheasant. Any one got a spare, ideally in a grey variant?

I doubt anyone will have a spare one of those! I got one in primer from Sopers BMW in Lincoln for £15.52 in March 2020. They had offered to supply it painted for another £15 - I wish I had gone for that. 
Anyway, looking at your photo I think you may be missing part of the washer jet too so that would be worth checking.

Thanks for that. New ones not oo bad then. You're right about the washers - picked up a pair on the forum sales last week.

I got an unpainted one from ebay and sprayed it myself using the Halfords touch up kit paint in my modelling airbrush. I then pulled the fuse out of the headlight washers to save it vanishing again (they mostly go missing when the washers are used).
