Wireless Dash Cam

I've read with great admiration the way some have installed dash cams with little or no wires showing. However the thought of me prising trim apart fills me with dread. Anyone got any recommendations for a dash cam that has an excellent battery life (or comes with a quick spare replacement that can be USB charged in the car)? Preferably one that can take a 64Gb card minimum.

The wired ones are usually preferable as they power on with the car and can be set for other such things such depending on the model. If I were you I’d be looking for recommendations on wired dash cams but them get it fitted. They get a bad rep depending on branch, but Halfords offers such a service and know how to take out/replace trim.

Cable I know but I’ve a non-oem Blackvue obd power cable bought from Halfords that works well with my old DR900S. Just a thought if all else fails, as you still have to route the cable.

No need to remove any trim to fit a dashcam at the front. I use an OBD power supply and that routes very easily along the edge of the trim up the door (under the rubber trim gasket) across the corner of the dash, then tucked into the screen edge trims and around the mirror housing to the passenger side.
Done in just a few minutes and easily removed if required.

I looked at wireless options and found them too limiting. Also forget to charge and they are useless or have a cable running for cigarette charger.
I wanted it for parking mode. Wired all the way.
