Post by Bmwjay » Tue May 02, 2023 7:30 pm

2007 Z4m 3.2 S54 Manual
This is a lovely example, this one absolutely sings
It’s a great spec, with all the usual refinmets
Rare Ruby Black paint, the paint in the sun really shines and glimmers with the red sparkle, this matches very well with the 2 tone red and black leather.
99.500miles , Full service history, last service done approximately 3000 miles ago
All original books and 2 keys.
HPI clear, I am the 5 owner

Its recently had some mechanical work done by previous owner, although no invoices for this as he they did the work them selfs

New front disc’s, pad’s and a calliper.

New roof motor and relocated, roof is in good condition.

New genuine BMW OEM third break light.

Refurbed ABS pump.

Refurbed the wheels although one has a slight chip.

Steering inners and outers.

Long MOT Nov 23

It’s a fantastic car, any inspection welcome.

There are a few bad points, Sat nav is currently not working and passenger seat doesn’t incline or recline, as the car is 16 years old there is the odd imperfection in the paint

currently dry stored in my garage not being used.

If you have a genuine interest in the car and would like to know more rather than posting questions here, please feel free to contact me.

Hi.
How long have you owned the car?
Any history on the rod bearings being replaced?

No history of bearings being done, no reason to think they need doing and to save the next question, the Vanos has not been done as it doesn't need doing.

I have had the car for 3 months but I now need to buy aa house due to a splitting up with my partner

cheers Jaye

Hi Jaye

You mention owning the car for some 3 months did you buy from South Wales as I looked at a Z4M R with the same spec as yours and with chrome role over hoops that was for sale a while back .

Looks great in the sun have you done any work to the car while it has been with you it looks really clean.

Regards

Allan

Looks like an honest example, Jaye. Can I suggest something that may help your advert though. Being an M, its even more important that the service history and any work done on the car (receipted) is present with the car. Perhaps you could photograph the service stamps and/or list out any history with dates and places that work was done, with the car.

Why not sell it for what you bought it for to see it gone Jaye...? You wont have lost anything.

99k miles and no rod bearings done is going to take more effort shifting at £14k than trying to move a skip full of lead with a feather.

I don't normally reply to stupid posts but..............

The price is the price, rod bearings or no rod bearings.

guess what, if someone buys the car and they buy into the rod bearing myth then they are very welcome to get them done them selfs, see easy peasy

and guess what a skip full of lead is pretty easy to sell , for future reference

What's stupid about suggesting you sell it for what you paid for it if you need it gone as you seem to...? :?

If you want to ignore the bearings issue that's very real and is something pretty much anyone will be concerned about judging by issues on the forum and sales ads you see, and is probably the reason your car isn't selling, then fine obvs...it's your choice....hope it doesn't rust to nothing waiting for a new owner.
