Has anyone used the Ringo App?

With more and more local authorities removing cash payment parking meters, wondering if this is worth activating?

Used it a couple of times, pretty useful.
Abstinence is fine, in moderation.

I use it. One thing I would say is just double check the parking location when pay using the car. Sometimes the app in the car will give you the wrong location code if there are multiple paid by RingGo car park. Otherwise, it's very convenient if the car park support RingGo (majority of car parks around me use PayByPhone :headbang: ).

Quick question on this.
The RINGGO app on my phone has a feature ‘connected vehicles’ that I am aware was simply not working for some months.

After seeing this post I tried connecting my account to the car again and it at least is now accepting my BMW username and password, but I then get an error screen on my phone. Has anyone recently got this linkup to work?

Ringo, JustPark, PayByPhone, MiPermit, SabaParking.....all apps I have on my phone due to the UK using different ways to remotely pay. Ringo is seems to be the most prevalent.

None of them can sing, play the guitar or drums, though.

Had the same issue. Found a thread on bimmerworld that it's a know issue (for months) with people chasing customer support. No ETA to fix.

I gave up and just use the ringoapp on Android auto or my phone instead.

Parking apps are like mobile phone chargers from 25 years ago. I use, regularly, 5 different parking apps. Pain in the neck with so many......

Yeh used it a few times, quite handy in and around London, just make sure the location is accurate.

First time I was nervous I’d get back to a ticket, not sure why as I’ve used the app for years without concern!
