Streaming TV abroad, who knew......

Post by N4LLY » Sat Apr 01, 2023 1:44 pm

Been in Poland this week, with only BBC World news on loop on TV (Polish TV, Pffttt)

Tinkered on the Tablet and found that Amazon prime is available abroad.
Limited to several series and movies but hey.

Watched "World's Toughest Race"

Paired Tablet with Hotels TV but only got sound ? (Advise?)

Still, was pleased with my find :)

The only way nowadays is to have a raspberry pi at a UK address on the network which you connect to from abroad. The Pi acts as your media centre then.

Works for me if I want to watch other countries version of Netflix or Prime in the UK.

Just use VPN and login to your UK account?

I always have VPN on but the likes of Netflix have blocked that now
