Do our cars have a daft alarm that is 3 single beeps? They are not fast there’s a good 1s or so gap

My alarm can be annoying and randomly goes off esp if it’s freezing I often lock it with the double key press. (Indicated by the red flash on the mirror)

I keep hearing these three beeps I don’t see any indicators flashing. I’m not lindford Christie so not able to get to the window but it deffo sounds like the z4 car alarm

Should say the bonnet sensor is disconnected as per usual

That does not sound familiar, not to an e85 at least.

You will know if the standard E85 alarm goes off. Plenty loud enough. How old is your battery? Always high on the suspect list for odd electrical gremlins.

Battery is new in jan after I left the radio on in the garage by accident doing the shocks.

I’m sure it’s the right tone etc. just 3 beeps 1-2s apart.

Not had chance to get the fault codes read yet.
