Interior Plastic Paint Colors

Post by rbaisa » Mon Mar 27, 2023 1:01 am

Hello everyone I hope all is well. I have a 2003 E85 Titan Silver paint, Oregon Red Leather and grey plastics. The covers on the cup holders, as many are, have broken. The grey ones are not availale but I was able to get some in black. I would like to spray them grey, but there are many different shades. Does anyone know the name of the grey color used for the plastics? I was specifically looking at Colorbonds paints. Thanks!

Looks like it could be Colorbond 88 (252)
https://www.colorbondpaint.com/products ... view=quick

...or you could try and order from Sopers BMW....part number is 64226917782 (x2)

...or for £26 you can get a new one from Lithuania...

...failing all of that you could always tap up enuff_zed, bigwinn or nash3vans to see if they have any spares off of a breaker car.

Appreciate the reply and will post back with an update. I emailed colorbond hoping they will respond. I am willing to buy new ones, but I already have the black ones and wanted to give it a try. I have another question though. What is is with all of the parts being available in Lithuania? I bought this car about 3 years ago????? and had to replace the usual broken and scraped up plastic pieces. I saw all of the parts in Lithuania, but did not purchase them from there for time purposes. How come all of these hard to find parts are available there?

I think its just a case of a reseller out there having a lot of stock. Seems legit but just a little on the expensive side (plus postage/import etc).
