I fitted this today to run my front and rear dash cams very neat and working well with the choice of power for 10 minutes or 24 hours after ignition off

Is that a Garmin kit? What model is it. Looks a smart install and love the dual connector for the OBD port. Not seen that before

Yes both dash cams are garmin 55 model and the mini rear, a very easy way to get 12v for constant recording

Couple of questions.

Is this "always on" or just switched with the ignition?
If its always on, how does that affect the cars battery life?
Any chance you could show some pics of the cable routing?

I love the fit and you can leave the dashcam running in the garage to see what it is that falls off the shelf/wall onto your car  That really is a very tidy fit in the garage!

You can adjust the time it’s left on after ignition off..2 and 10 minutes plus permanently on..I guess a week or so would be the max time..since the car cannot command it down you run the risk of a flat battery..
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
