Do you mean the boot open button or the unlock button on the remote?

i I think it was unlock button, it took me ages to program it with help from mods for cars did you attach the USB lead so you can program in situ? via laptop.

No I didn’t but I’m an expert now at removing the trims so no problem getting to the smart top . On the mods 4 cars programming section on function 5 it mentions the unlock and lock buttons for the roof operation then mentions the open button for the trunk access hence why I’m thinking it could be the boot open button that should be tapped or held in. I didn’t press this when trying to do the trunk access only the unlock button on the remote which didn’t do anything.

, I thought you would fit it and use the pre programmed settings , you can go back to factory settings via the usb port

Yeah I know, it’s very easy to change the settings etc. I just need to have a play the next time I get the car out
