Yes it can, see the images of the sample below. But it isn't carbon fiber, I think it's called alufiber.

Oh cool!
My ‘aluminium carbon’ trim looks like it could do with a freshen up. I’m wondering if this would be a good replacement.

What how much would a set be in this?

I think the original alu carbon trim is kind of like fake carbon fiber hydro dipped pattern, so I think this would make a good replacement looking kind of original but with better depth to the pattern and 3D like effect that carbon fiber brings.

Price will be like B21 commented earlier £500 plus shipping for full set if you send in your cores, this fabric is a little cheaper than carbon fiber but I would have to buy it in especially for your job. The price is for a full set, that is the two dash trims, center console plus the two door trims. The trims are hand finished with multiple coats of epoxy and then sent off to my local profession body shop to be 2K lacquered.

Hi Silverstar,

I am a new member to this forum and a new e89 Z4 owner. I can't send you a PM because this is my first post on the forum. I would like to have my interior trim recovered in carbon fiber. Can you please contact me and let me know how to make this happen? I am in the US.

Thank you

Hello Brian,

Since you are in the US I guess you will need trims to fit a LHD car? The easiest way would be for me to source some trims here in Europe to skin in carbon fiber and then ship them to you. I would need to work out costs based on how much I can get second hand trims for and shipping costs to the US.

If you make 3 posts you can send me a PM and we can continue there.

Thanks and regards
