LCI Grill
Quick question, is the LCI face lift the exact same grill size? I really like the look of the honeycomb type grill over the grill i have on my 2020.

I hope you don't mind me piggybacking on your initial post. I have noticed on if you opt for the Shadow Line Plus Pack on the M40i the wheel design has changed to 772M for the LCI model. Is anyone aware of an other changes with the UK LCI model.

Found the answer to my own question. LCI has introduced a revised front grille, change of alloys for the Shadow Line Pack and 3 new colours.

G29 M40i Misano Blue all option packs (Gone 26k of fun)

I think I like the wheels but need to see them in the flesh. The car I am test driving is an LCI one.Argyll Andy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 4:27 pmYeah, I think that’s it but I’m not too sure I like the new alloys with the polished lip and the ///M badge

Did they say what colour? My dealership said the launch/demo ones were going to be purple so I would get to see the car I was thinking about buying

[/quote] Thanks for the link, that's really helpful. Not sure on the colour of their demo at this stage but I have seen a 2.0i M Sport in my local dealership in Thundernight with Ivory. Absolutely stunning

Slight change to the front bumper too Boyo, the lower intakes on each side have changed design. Personally the small LCI have all been for the better, price has gone up £12k since I bought mine in '21 but I don't know what deals are available now, I'm going on the configurator, so probably means nothing. I guess the deals on new old stock they're trying to shift pre LCI would mean you could really squeeze them if the LCI isn't of importance to anyone, at a guess I'd think you could get a brand new pre LCI for £10k less than post LCI, that's if you could find your spec of course. There's a black and red brand new pre LCI up for £54k with all options ticked before I squeeze they're bollocks... but tbh I'm wary of the pre LCI come sell time as this will be the last change they make, how much will the difference make...? Who knows...

I also thought about future value but I think there is so much uncertainty over other things, like a future ban on ICE sales and no replacement Z4 that the values might hold up regardless of the model year. This is also a pretty rare car which puts it in a good light as a future classic. I also look over that the E89s and E85s that are commanding decent money. Saying that I bought my car as a potential long term keeper so it's future value isn't a huge factor personally.john-e89 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 9:26 pmSlight change to the front bumper too Boyo, the lower intakes on each side have changed design. Thanks John. I also like the remodelling to the front end, however, not sure about the alloys until I actually see them. Its going to need to be an LCI car as I am sold on Thundernight. I have briefly discussed discounts on a factory order with a couple of dealers but they weren't indicating any huge discounts. Until I drive one and know for certain that its going to be my next car, I am not putting my negotiating hard hat on. Also, I will contact as many dealers within reason to see who will come up with the goods. With regard to future values, I am a little surprised at the depreciation added to the hike in the new price. Again something I need to consider before I get carried away.john-e89 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 11, 2023 9:26 pmSlight change to the front bumper too Boyo, the lower intakes on each side have changed design.
