Which workshop manual

Post by sjh00u82 » Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:12 pm

What is everyone using when working on the Z4M?

Are people just buying a E46 3 series haynes and working out the details themselves or are people using these ebay workshop manual downloads?

I know is been covered before on here, but I thought I would check if there was any specific advice for the 'M' version.

Thanks

I tend to use ISTA which is the bmw main dealer software. It's akin to TIS online which got removed from the interweb a few years back.

You'll need a older windows laptop running XP or an equivalent base model. There's plenty of set up guides on YT if you get stuck, Evan Goyuk has a decent tutorial.

Pelican Parts give some easy to understand instructions with well labeled pictures for most of our Z's common tasks, also a list of parts and tools needed for each job.
