2006 Z4MR - 69k miles - Silver £13k

Post by z4mcc » Fri Feb 03, 2023 12:33 pm

Hi Guys,

Putting my Z4M up for sale. £13k

Needs a bit of TLC cosmetically with some age-related marks but great mechanically and low-mileage. I've owned the car since Nov 2019 and was bought from a piston heads member.

Bought just before lockdown and since then became a dad so never really got to use it very much. Basically stored in the garage for the last 2 years with the occasional blast out.

Happy for any inspection at buyers' cost.

Open for offers given it needs a few bits doing. Only for sale during feb, after which ill enjoy it for the summer and sell it later on.

Located in Bracknell

69,000 miles on the clock
Oil service due in 8k miles.
MOT till Nov 2024
brand new pads (Mintex 1144)
Running on Cup2's but they will need replacing after the summer
Totally original except ZHP weighted gearknob
Electric memory heated seats
Cup holders
Detailed, paint correct and ceramic coated last week

Service
9/06 - 0 - Pre-Delivery - L J Irving Bridgewater
10/06 - 1608 - Running In Check - L J Irving Bridgewater
9/07 - 13k - Oil & Micro Filter - L J Irving Bridgewater
5/10 - 24k - Insp I + Micro-filter - Sytner Cardiff
8/14 - 35k - Oil - Sytner Maidenhead
8/16 - 36k - Ins II - Vines Guildford
2/18 - 49k - Oil + Micro Filter - Barons Farnbrough
10/19 - 64k - Insp I - TWG Automotive

Brake Fluid
5/10 - 24k - Sytner Cardiff
8/14 - 35k - Sytner Maidenhead
2/18 - 49k - Barons Farnbrough
10/19- 64k - TWG Automoative

bad points:
Wheels need a refurb due to discolouration and minor kerbing (or replacement with CSL's)
Front bumper fitment isn't great after removal to fit LED indicators
LED indicators fitted so light on the dash (needs a resistor fitting or bulbs)
Brake pad level sensor disconnected so light on the dash
Noticed today the driver-side wing mirror glass is starting to cloud/needs replacing.
All factored into the price but open to sensible offers.

Great car, GLWTS
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

A shame you are having to sell - you are probably less than 10 miles from me!

But congratulations on becoming a Dad - even if that is probably a factor in your sale. :(

Good luck finding the right buyer.

Maybe it hasn't got one? :?
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

E89 20i Now fully dried

Let's hope not, what with the minimum wage, pension and NI conts, 17 weeks paid holiday a year and make sure there is enough room for a HR rep to monitor his 'mental health' and general well-being! I would be putting the price up..:D
