Just a note on torque settings, the driveshaft bolts are 100nm on our cars as its the steel torx bolts not the silver torx bolts found on the very earliest E46 m3.
Be careful using the E46 torque settings from the realoem diagram, I am sure most are the same, but having finally got TIS working, I noticed a difference on the rear caliper slide pin torque on TIS to what is shown on the exploded realoem pictures.

Aircon - suggest you keep it as it's great for demisting windscreens when it's wet :thumbsup:

I will put it back in as soon as I can be bothered, but TBH this car is never going to be driven in rain, or at least not on purpose. I'm too precious about it :)
