It’s been a complete waste of cash - but hindsight is a wonderful gift!
To be fair I wouldn't expect to be having warranty issues after only 16.5K miles!
I went sleep walking into the very low mileage to be honest.
The car probably doesn’t need a warranty but I would always have the desire for a roadside assistance policy, so for the extra few quid why worry.

The car is treated with kid gloves so will eventually be sold on here when I turn my toes up! (Hopefully not for a while yet)

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

I bought my 3.5i manual last year and paid a bit more than I wanted but these cars with low miles command good money. Mines a LCI 2013 model , BMW dealer history, 38k on clock lots of goodies and manual. Quite a rare beast. Got the BMW warranty on it straight away as it was a private sale. Warranty cheap as chips really (£600 ish with £100 excess) and I have used it once already for some exhaust sensor that threw up the engine warning light. In garage waiting for good weather to return at the moment so I can start driving it again….24K may seem a lot of cash but you will soon forget about it and been a BMW approved car it’ll be a great example which will hold its value. What else can you buy for £24k with same spec/reliability/performance?
BMW E89 3.5i M Sport manual, loving it….
Audi S5 Cab, Great car but not special enough….
BMW E89 3.5i DCT, Havana Brown, should never have sold it…..
BMW E85 3.0 Auto, sadly missed (twice)

Congrats, looks like you got a nice car and a good deal IMHO.

I sold my 2014 VO 35is, with all the toys, well below mileage back in May and the dealership sold it a couple of days later I recall for £26k.

I looked at the AT site and the only other 2016-35is is on for £25991 - The £24k looks like a bargain !
Just forget about the price now and enjoy the car

Surprised a BMW dealer would sell a warranted car with non runflats.

Welcome back BTW, and yes I do think £24k is a lot for any E89 but I am a tight arse! :D
AT have three on at this time - if it’s a 35is you want with a decent low miles you’ll have to pay for it!

There are plenty 2.0l cars about but relatively few 35is
24 35is FS Ron on AT…not sure prices are going to rise much this year…

I don’t look at AT very often but 44 35i/ 35is are a lot AFAIK FS?
Over the past couple of years it's consistently been around 10 35is for sale at any given point. Seems like a lot of owners wanting to free up cash by getting rid of their toys.

Am I right in thinking there were only 400 sold in UK? That would mean 5% of them are currently for sale on AT, which feels like a lot.

Looks good, as others have said, that’s a fair chunk of change, but it you love it, that’s all that matters. Any car is going to depreciate, but that’s only an issue when/if you sell it :)

I've just looked at the "How many left" site and the 400off 35is is about right.

BMW dealers will sell the car with non runflats and give their warranty. When I was looking for mine I saw one at a main dealer and I asked if they would swap out the tyres for non runflats and the answer I got back was yes no problem. Tyres whether they are runflats or not does not affect the warranty.

Not according to a mate of mine's 530 when he needed new tyres. BMW dealership told him the warranty would be void if he 'deviated from the manufacturer's OEM tyres'.
Probably a scare tactic (as RFTs are generally more expensive), but would you challenge it?

I think the tires thing is maybe a relic of the distant past. When I bought a new m240i in 2016 the dealer took off the run flats before delivery & swapped to pilot sports.

I don’t believe they are precious about it anymore.

Thanks for the positive comments, yes the white car pictured is the one I bought :)

Hope for sun when I go pick it up!
