Hey folks,
For the past few days, ive noticed the car had been idling a bit rough - would drop to 750/800 rpm before bouncing back up to about 1000 at the lights. Nothing major. It did this last year untill i changed the 02 sensor for a new one which solved the problem.
Tonight, after a quick 5 mile blast on the motorway, the EML comes on.
Given the car only has 37k miles on it, and the 02 sensor is new, could this be symptoms of VANOS on its way out? or could it still be something else?

EML light question
You need to scan the car for codes, that should give you something concrete to follow up.

Thanks for replying, as it turns out, was the other 02 sensor....rather that than the vanos!
