How do you deal with them?

My wife had a call from someone with a very difficult to understand south Asian accent - he said he wanted to talk about our O2 mobile phone contract. We aren’t with O2

I shouted “HEY SCAMMER” - he hung up without argument!
You don't stop playing when you get old - You get old when you stop playing!
So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with.

Had one today, Edinburgh number but obviously from overseas. Usual "about your accident sir"
Guy seemed to get very excited when I said it happened only a few weeks ago and that myself and my passengers all got whiplash.
For some reason hung up when I said I was a bus driver.........

To be considered so dull and boring that even a phone-scammer would hang up on you...that's gotta sting a bit.

It's quite incredible how you can make each of your posts dumber than the last, yet here we are again.

https://www.tpsonline.org.uk/register

"he Telephone Preference Service (TPS) is the UK’s only official ‘Do Not Call’ register for landlines and Mobile numbers. It allows people and businesses to opt out of unsolicited live sales and marketing calls.

It’s free and quick to register a telephone number. Doing so will reduce the amount of unwanted sales and marketing calls you receive. There is also a register for businesses, the Corporate Telephone Preference Service.

If a number is registered with the TPS/CTPS, organisations are legally required – by the Privacy and Electronic (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 – to refrain from calling it. In the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office enforces the law and has power to fine firms that break it."

I hadn‘t realised that mobile numbers could also be registered

I love telephone scammers; some real fun can be had with them if you can think on your feet and have the time.
Had one of the Microsoft 'virus' people on the phone for about 20 minutes once.
My mate annoyed one of the 'asian' people so much once, they actually rang him back and called him a 'motherf*cker' in a thick Mumbai accent.

In the good old days it was fun to make appointments with double glazing companies then not answer the door. Did that twice!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Thank you, for yet again, proving my point about your low level of intelligence.
