Z4 Coupe Sport

Looking to get a nice Z4 Coupe, not too fussed on colour, but has to be a manual. I'm in Kent, so don't really want to be travelling to the other side of the country! I tend to keep my cars for a while, so would prefer sub 100k miles.

It's just a thought but Brits seem to have a real issue with 6 figure mileages, and values tend to reflect that.

So buying one that has already hit the 100K milestone already would save you taking that "hit" during your ownership.

N52 engines seem quite capable of high mileages - my 2nd E86 had done 91K when I sold it, my E91 325i was on 139K when I sold it and my current E90 330i has just passed 120K and they all performed really well.
Coupes because stunning!
Current - Silver Grey MC, Imola Red heated Nappa & carbon trim. Aeros, H & R Coil-overs, 224s, OE Strut brace, Nav, cup-holders, DSP Hi-Fi, pdc, cruise, MFSW, no CDV! E90 330i daily
Gone - Montego Blue
Gone - Ruby Black

I agree, but thinking of when I come to sell I would like to keep a better residual. If the right car came up with a higher mileage I might consider it though.

UK does have a hang up on 100K+ miles, but (usually) a big difference between UK stop/start wear compared to motorway/Autobahn/interstate journeys, I always buy on condition. General market seems to have stronger prices for high milers than in the past and I wonder if this is a phenomena of high prices for electric cars or what electric can't do stimulating demand for petrol and diesel? Dare I say it a bit more care and maintenance being expended to keep them going.

Managed to lock myself out of my main account, so using this login for the time being. Does any one know this car?

Looks quite nice in the pics, and a 1 owner car. but I see on the MOT history both the rear wheels have been repaired, are these expensive to replace if needed?

I dont know the car, but a few observations...

Firstly always run a vcheck on the car, it gives you loads of extra stuff normal HPI checks etc dont give.

And on the car specifically, I wouldnt worry about the in dash flip up screen, in fact my preference is to get one without as its a ball ache getting rid of it if you want to use other tech - its going to be a decade old bit of tech anyway and look its age.

Its been debadged on the back, but also the sides so presume thats owner just doing it rather than anything like a knock. No cruise control. But heated seats.

There are three sound system options, worth checking in on that, standard, hifi and top hifi (with bass speakers etc).

Stormworks gearknob on it I think, so maybe previous owner did a little bit of tinkering across the car so see what looks non BMW and check it out.

I notice it has a Z4-forum sticker on the side window, so thinking it might have been owned by someone who looked after it.

Depending on when you're wanting one by, I'll be putting mine up for sale in a couple of months.

It's not sub-100k miles, though. I've got a thread on my ownership so far, not done much to it lately however.

I want to fit a fair few parts that I've got in the garage before listing it up for sale, so whoever the new owner is has some element of peace of mind, but looking to put it up for sale around March.

Happy to answer any questions if it's of interest :)

Just heard back, the wheels have been replaced, so that's not a problem. Does 11k seem like a reasonable price from a dealer for an 86k miles car?
Can you still add a bluetooth module onto the nav system to connect the audio from your phone? I guess with the screen up it would be a handy place top ut your phone!

I bought a £20 module plugged it into the back of my head unit and it worked a treat, was one off ebay. I dont though think it would work with this particular head unit as mine literally sits between the loom and head unit, it was plug and play, I am not sure what BT solutions there are for the one in this car.

I'm going to have a look at the car above tomorrow, it's a couple of hour drive, but I'd happily do that down to Goodwood just to look at nice cars!
