Welcome! I've never been in a 2.0 E89 but I would guess the 3.0L would be more of a typical BMW experience. Enjoy your hunting!

Whether 6 cylinder n/a or 4 pot 2 litre turbo, they are all a massive step up from a Z3 in terms of refinement. The M-sport versions look nicer but have very hard suspension. The SE spec are generally cheaper but have much 'better' suspension.
Good luck with your search. Best time to buy a convertible IMO.
