There, I’ve fixed that for you - no need to thank me

No Saabs. I had a very bad experience with an ex business partner over a Saab (long story). My dad had a Saab 96 (900cc two stroke) when I was a little kid. I loved it but think it may have contributed significantly to global warming.

It’s ok Pondy, I’m carrying on the fine tradition :P

One of the bikes I have my eye on is a KH250. Can't afford the 750 (or 500, or 400 for that matter)!
The other is a GPX750R. Never had one but always liked them. Would love a gpz550/ 750 unitrack but rare as hen's teeth and climbing in value.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

F31 320i. Good car.
E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!
Mazda3 sold
Tatty old R56 Mini Cooper. Money pit!

Couldn't do that. The numbers wouldn't match and would play havoc with my OCD. Any bike I buy would have to be a 'UK' one with matching numbers.
Why do these threads keep turning into nostalgic bike threads?

LHD is lovely to drive, I had a lhd car for years in the UK, just so much easier to drive with the gearshift in your right hand.
I always drive when I have family over in their cars, not a problem

Being left handed I’ve always been happy with it on the left. :D
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

@Pondy
Why not go for a Triumph Trident?
It's a classic, it is british, a triple and also smokes on the overrun when ridden hard

Do we know if Pondy can ride a bike? I wouldn't trust him with a push bike

Ditto mate. I heard that 90% of the most successful people are left handed (oh and me!).

I passed my bike test when you were still wearing wooden shoes, living in a windmill and picking tulips for a living.
