yes! I spent quite some time going around a roundabout trying to empty it as thats when it pops out. It wont fill up provided you've stopped the leak. Hence I suggested removing the trim is the best way to ensure you can see that its drying up...

I have a leak in the left storage well, only after it rains not when washing car. Had good advice on here and seems to be the same as you have. But didn’t have time to take it all apart so I have used gorilla tape over all the gaps and screws on the left hand side to see what happens. Not had any rain for 2 weeks so don’t know.   If it still comes in it will be from somewhere else.
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

yes mine did. If theres enough water it overflows into the battery/pump well. There is a plug at the bottom of the well i believe.

Did you re-mount the cluster correctly, aka pulling the cluster's seal manually into the trunk?
