Sports seat belt retainer removal

Having a look at how to remove the seat belt retainer.
I found this link but still don't understand how to remove the smaller piece,

Can anyone explain it to me in simple terms before I break something. :?
3.0si roadster. Requisite stubby. Sound gen mod. LED numberplate lights. LED boot strip. Interior lights LED too. ZHP gearknob. Daily drive :driving:
Motor in boot. Bilstein B8 dampers. New radio, much better sounds :thumbsup:

It just pops apart at the top.

Might be different on your unique Sports seat belt! :rofl:

The smaller piece sits in the two outer parts

If you look at the rear there are 3 rectangular holes, pop a small screwdriver in them to separate the two bigger parts

Once you have separeted them, a tiny piece of felt tape on both ends will eliminate the sqeak. viewtopic.php?p=1849114#p1849114
