Yes, everyone! :x

My gas and leccy bills from 1st December to 1st Jan were £562.89 (actual usage) less £67.

I've seen others on another forum paying over £1,000 for December! :o

Bit like that yes - there is a transmitter on the tank that sends the level to a receiver in the house which shows how many litres you have left.

That's a level indicator, though, not a meter!
You oil-burning boys are laughing anyway. First time in history that heating oil is cheaper than mains gas by around 20% (and you don't pay a standing charge).

I bought one of them once (a watchman). Then it broke, so I went back to a stick!

What was your usage? In December we used 340KWH electric and 1,400 KWH Gas. 4 bed detached , 3 adults, gas central heating and hob, cavity wall insulation. On a fixed deal until August so cost was £129 before the government hand out.

January looks like being below £90 as its been much milder. On a typical day we seem to be using 9-10KWH electric and 25-30KWH Gas
Now: 2004 Z4 3.0i - Merlot Red
Before: VW Corrado VR6 Storm - Classic Green

349kW leccy.
4,158kW gas.
5 bed detached (2600sq ft). 3 Adults, me at home all day. Gas hob, heating, water heating, fairly modern house (20 years), fairly modern system boiler (mains pressure). Gas fired stove in main living room (which has been needed recently).

28 old u-pvc windows (yes I know 28!) which are the problem with gas usage, as some leak like a sieve.

33.02p kW leccy. 45.76p per day charge
10.237p kW gas. 28.48p per day charge.
Variable tariff as fixed price finished back in the Summer. :(
