I would get a Bluemusic adaptop about £30 from Amazon, plugs into your CD changer wiring as long as you don't mind losing the CD changer of course. Works well and can skip tracks using the MFSW. No wiring visible and by far the easiest option.

Far as suspension goes, depends how bit your budget is. Top end your looking Bilstein or KW, if just springs then H&R are fine for road use but obviously this will leave your original dampers in situ which isn't ideal.
Z4MR - Gruppe M, Bilstein PSS10, CSL's + 18" CSL reps with semi's, RTAB Limiters, Powerflex’d, PF Camber Arms, K-Sport BBK / RSL-29, GC Camber Plates, Strut Brace, Exhaust valves, custom brake cooling, complete underside refresh!

These cars need two things - KWV3 coilovers and a Bluemusic adapter. That’s all mine have and they are good enough for me - as mentioned the looks and relative rarity are what these cars are about.

If you are running Waze or similar, will the alerts play over the car speakers using a Bluemusic Adaptor?

I have the BlueBus, which is expensive but works really well and integrates with the car BUS very nicely

Thanks. My Daily has air suspension so I can imagine that this is a bit of a game changer.

In terms of the Bluemusic; does the connection to the CD port give it power? The Amazon picture looks like it has a cigarette lighter adaptor as well as the connection wire.

Although the Z4M has its own handling quirks they are basically very good indeed and one need only test drive a Z3M to realize just how much better the Z4 is.
