Modern teenage boys....???

My beautiful daughter, at 16, has started 'befriending' boys of her age, due to changing schools to do her A levels.
We have had the delight of several attending our home for various reasons over the last couple of months.
I can't talk to them......they are not interested in cars, motorbikes, football, nothing!

Talking on social media and online gaming seems to be the only things a modern teenage boy cares about.
Oh and apparently McDonald's is the best dining experience known to man.
I hate the modern world!

Have you tried talking to them about "romancing" 16 year old girls?
They would be all ears.

Feel for you mate, all males know what we were like at that age, and now you have a daughter that age..

When I was a teenager my girlfriends dad was a cop. Didnt really want to share anything with him.
And remember that he is just a potential sexual partner for her , not your new best friend.

You'd be alright if my lad came round, cars bikes and football are all in his favourite things.. He's still big on gaming but he's a proper petrol head already.. I did something right as a father

If they're that into social media, you should have no problem tracking them down and finding out everything you want (or don't want) to know about them

Luckily mine went to a Girls’ only school.

We went on holiday with a friend and his 16 year old daughter and whilst she was keen to engage I couldn't understand what she was on about as it wasn't a form of English that I understood. As an example I wasn't married but was wifed up
