A weekend of island and ferry hopping across some of the most beautiful coastal and mountain scenery in Scotland.

Starting at Oban on Saturday and then following the coast up to Corran, then taking two ferries to Mull, before a final ferry and some fabulous scenery takes us to Airsaig for the Saturday night.

Sunday sees a ferry taking us to Skye for the day before either taking the small ferry or Bridge from Skye to Kyle of Lochalsh.

Given the start and finish points there are some great opportunities to do some further interesting routes on either side of this long weekend.
We’ve booked 4 rooms for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights at £80, £130 and £140 respectively.

Friday night is at the Premier Inn Oban, with Saturday night is at the Old Library and Lodge, Arisaig with Sunday night at Tingle Creek Hotel in Kyle of Lochalsh.

These are allocated on a first come, first served basis, however if you are not sure that you can commit please put yourself down as ‘interested’ rather than ‘definite’

Depending on numbers, anyone past the 4 room limit can book direct.

For logistics reasons this is restricted to 8 cars maximum.

Hotel prices and availability are much more challenging in 2023, and with folk’s budgets constrained, if you want to book cheaper / alternative accommodation please feel free.

A weekend in and around the west coast..starting at Oban around the very long way to Arisaig then across to Skye then across on the old turntable ferry and back to Ardgour…moving chaos due to multiple ferry outages..moist in places…Skye was the quietest I’ve seen..

I was crocked with a trapped nerve in my spine so played co-pilot to CherryM…allied to multiple pain killers and ointments…

Scotland just keeps on giving ..
