Funny you should bring up the GT6, it was that car and the 240Z that made me look at the Z4M Coupe in the first place.

I never saw a connection with the Cayman, but now that you mention it the rear haunches are similar.

I remember thinking at the time that BMW should've used the Z4m to introduce the Triumph badge, I think they still had the rights back then.
I guess the marketing boffins knew otherwise.
