If England get past Senegal, it's almost certainly France next in Qtr final :o
That would be a game and a half 8)

No Germans and No Belgians, Spain only getting through by the skin of their teeth. France, Holland and the Argies not playing very well at all. It's not shaping up to be a classic World Cup.
Only Brazil have been consistent of the top teams so far.
England did play some very good football against Wales, just always a worry which team will turn up for the next game.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

4 centuries by England on the first day of the cricket test match against Pakistan. A lot more exciting than this World Cup.

Hmmm, from what Pakistan are now doing I suspect it is down to a placid pitch rather than England batting well.................... sadly.
Second innings on a worn pitch maybe more interesting.

Suarez is a disgrace of a human being, should have been banned for life for the biting.
Abstinence is fine, in moderation.

Agree but still better than the football and all that virtue signalling by England still.

Another 'big' team out in Uruguay.
It's starting to look like the 2004 euros. Remember? Greece won it!! :o

There have been some very 'strange' decisions which have helped some Asian nations progress, considering VAR is now 'error proof'. If you believed in conspiracy theories, you could ask whether FIFA are trying to increase the footballing profile of Eastern Countries. :?

Probably going to play Argentina next, though. So maybe not for long!
