Blu Tooth Stereo Conversion

Post by Penelope » Sat Nov 19, 2022 8:05 pm

Just fitted this to the rear of the head unit of a non Sat Nav Business CD Stereo with no DSP on my '08 E86. Works perfectly with iPhone. Awesome upgrade. It's a bit of a tight fit but goes in with some harness jiggling.

Blu Tooth Stereo Conversion

Looks good - I've been debating one of these for a while. Did you have to wire in power or was it totally plug and play? Couple of questions:

Can you use it for phone calls? (if so, does it use the existing mic?)
Can you control it via the steering wheel controls?

Cheers

I'm interested - was it a straight-forward fitting job?
