Mystery part-swaybar

Post by spitfun » Fri Nov 18, 2022 10:27 pm

I am looking for the name of this part. It connects to the swaybar on passenger side,I believe it stiffens the shocks up when you go into a hard corner to control roll. Mine seems loose and the arm is bent,I can't find it mentioned anywhere-anybody know what is is called??

Light reveler, if you accelerate the dipped light beam should move down.

There’s one on the front wishbone too :tumbleweed:
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

Fwiw, they're also used to control the air suspension and ride height on X5s, 5er Tourings etc.

On the E89 the level sensors are just for headlight control…damping control is ‘sensed’ by 3 accelerometers only
