New Z4 Owner from West Yorkshire
Hi all I'm Mat 53yrs old and having a midlife crisis so finally own a 2014 Z4 28i after lusting over them for a long period of time.
My problem was I needed a dog carrier, so I sold my X5 and bought a Z for myself and a Suzuki Grand Vitara for the hound
In between while the other half was in America I bought a absolutely mad 400bhp Fiesta ST which my missus and friends ridiculed me over for being a Chav and immature etc being bandied about along with more unsavoury names so that was sold very quickly.
I will be looking to mod it slightly with a re-map , some carbon shiny bits and maybe some other things depending on what I read on here I can't keep anything standard for long

Welcome, Mat. You made a good decision, nice looking Zed. Even your photo is good enough for the next monthly photo competition! Enjoy!

Welcome Mat (heehee)!
As you have bought a 28i, you will not get too much extra from a standard remap without doing some added engine work TBH.
I bought a Mk4 Focus ST last year (I'm around the same age as you) and sold it quick as the young chavs in the town kept giving me the thumbs up!
Stick to BMs, at least you know where you are with 'wan*er' signs from other drivers!

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Welcome to the madhouse.
Look forward to seeing how you personalise it.
Not sure about shiny carbon bits though.
Think you'd be better off with a 'Mat' finish.

Hello Mat, love a black E89 welcome to the party. I’ve looked at so many crazy alternatives from 70s American muscle to tweaked modern Fords but it would have to be something special (and a lot more expensive I’m guessing) to change mine. Would like a cheap X5 to move the dogs in, after the RAV4 let me down by dramatically failing its MOT. Keep posting!!

Welcome
Nice looking zed. You will get plenty of ideas and technical advice on here re any modifications you want to make.
One bit of very important advice from me. Keep the whippy. That doesn't need any modification

Hi, welcome to the forum Mat and don’t let this lot walk all over you. Oops Sorry
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Welcome…I’m happy to lead you astray…I’ll pm my bank details and then we can go spending together….shall we start at £5k?
We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…
