Hi everyone,
I just joined the group as im going to go look at a e89 z4 23i (2010). What are tge common problems with these cars and what should i be looking out for? Any important maintenance that needs to be done apart from usual servicing?
Any help would be great. Thanks

Buying tips
Hello.
Have a read through the following thread
viewtopic.php?t=32132
Roof electrics/ hydraulics can be problematic, although most issues tend to be related to switches or relays, which are fairly easy and cheap to rectify. Water ingress, mostly in the boot, can be a problem as a lot of the cars' electrics and roof motors are housed there. Water in headlight or rear light clusters can be an issue if seals perish.
Big wheels with run flat tyres can be a recipe for wheel cracking (seems to be 326M and 296M mostly).
Generally good cars, though. Good luck with your search.

All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

Pondy incorrect but in general has my 23i for nearly two years and one switch has gone, cost £20 to replace (DIY) so pretty reliable.
