FFS. I can't believe it has come down to grown men taking photos of their kettles!
I don't know if we have a kettle; that's the wife's domain! :P
Well, the discussion is in the lounge section.
I didn’t think I’d get scolded for it :P

Makes me boiling mad all this talk of bloody kettles. :)

Maybe there should be a 'kitchen section' rather than a 'lounge'. Getting like Mumsnet. :?

Made by Neff Iain. Good stuff IMO.
Siemens, Bosch and Neff household appliances are all the same with different badges. Some are made by Bosch, some Neff but none are made by Siemens as they make electronics. I had a Siemens side by side fridge freezer a few houses ago, it was a frigging Samsung with a siemens control panel on the front!

I have a friend who used to work for Bosch, albeit in a division that wasn't actually branded as Bosch (commercial loud speakers). You would be amazed at the companies that Bosch 100% own.

To be fair I'm not really surprised after spending some years handling claims for US Corporations and discovering that among the many brands Pepsico owned were Tropicana, Walkers crisps and Frito Ley snacks!

Yes I heard that Pepsi owns Walkers!
The home appliance market is a right old racket, though. So many 'household' names went out of business and then others just bought the rights to use their names for a quid. Stoves and Belling owned by Glen Dimplex to name just a couple. AEG owned by Electrolux and so are Parkinson Cowan. It goes on and on.

MG springs to mind. From a British sports car to a fairly pedestrian (but cheap) SUV. Here at least the Chinese are trying to convince punters of the heritage.......

They're doing it worldwide. Obviously no rules on deceptive and misleading advertising in India.

Already got the X1, 3, 5, 7. Odd numbers for SUVs, even numbers for 'proper' cars. i7 is released soon; an all electric 'executive' car retailing at £about a million! Bargain!

We are moving further and further away from real cars, it’s no wonder neither of my children wanted to learn how to drive one.

Even numbers don't escape there's X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6 & X7 - the even numbered X's are 'coupe-fied' versions of the odd numbered vehicles with a sloping roof and lower rear roofline.

We've got an X3 as our daily but I don't see the point of the X2, X4, & X6 myself as, if you're buying a SUV, why make it less practical by reducing its load-lugging capacity? They sell them as 'sporty' SUVs but I don't see it, to the lines just look odd as if an elephant has sat on the rear and squashed it.
