    I fitted a dashcam on my G29 with hard wire and recording when parked.

    Yes. Also hardwired.

    So I didn’t as it cost far too much and you pay for the rear camera that you can’t install. It’s also a lower resolution compared to what you can buy for less money.

    No for me. As ori said, way too expensive. The dash cam in UK is already very expensive. Why pay even more to fit something that's less good?

    I am using ddpai mini 5 on both of my bmw. Not sure whether they have entered uk market or not though.
