Z4 Noob!

Post by Buncey92 » Wed Oct 26, 2022 7:32 pm

Good evening all!

I finally joined the club over the weekend, and achieved a dream! I’m the proud owner of a 3 litre e85!

As someone who has always bought brand new, I was nervous to buy an almost 20 year old car but I’ve always wanted a zed and she drives a dream! I’ve taken it out every day and I haven’t stopped smiling!

I’m not very mechanically minded, and not very useful with my hands to be honest but tonight I have completed my first mod of sorts thanks to reading the posts on this forum. I got sick of heart FM after a only a few days so have just installed a new Stereo.

I’ve attached a few photos and have a few more aesthetic mods I’m planning to do so will share my progress.

Glad to be a part of the team and thanks to everyone here, you knowledge has already helped me a lot in choosing the car and completing my first mod!

Welcome to the forum, nice looking car, especially the colour. Next mod I would suggest is getting a stubby :poke:
Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

Thanks all for such a warm welcome!

Small update, I wasn’t a fan of the grey vent with the black fascia so have switched out the grey vent for a black one! Not a huge difference but one of those small annoyances I had to take care of!

Royal Mail making progress slow, but few more updates to follow.

I won’t give away my position on stubby vs whippy just yet, but let’s just say the next update will reveal all
