Come back to me if you find something you like. And if you want me to do the work, the company I use for paint and film is hydro style uk . They will work with you and help you get what you want regarding a bespoke film . They too obviously will do the work for you… but Dave ( davros ) had a crazy quote from them when he asked. Just trying to be as transparent as possible

Dave, have you done your roll bar hoops by any chance?
I’m wondering if a gloss Carbon effect is do-able?

I did do my roll hoops ( in gloss black ) this was before I’d started with the hydro dip . I wish I’d known about it before I did them . Doing the hoops in gloss black was difficult to get the wet look effect in those bends without runs or overspray . With the hydro dip the paint doesn’t have to have that effect, as long as your colour has covered the part . It’s just for the print to stick to . The thing with dipping those is the shape. You will likely get a bit of stretch in the pattern.
It obviously has to bend round the shape so won’t look straight all through. If you look at the pictures of the speed shapes you can see what I mean. Although I’d expect the hoops to come out better than those speedshapes .
Let me know your thoughts

There is a thread on carbon hoops in the e89 I’ve just noticed. They would come out something like in the hose pictures but a hell of a lot cheaper. Depends if the individual wants real carbon. I did put a carbon steering wheel on mine . So I’m not against it .

I can see a ‘wobble’, for want of a better expression, in the darkest finish, but the other two look pretty good for so many curves

Just catchin up, you're very welcome!
Looking forward to see what you do with them, and how the silver re-striping comes out!
