It’s still wet from the rinse in the picture.
I’ll clear coat in full gloss on that part tomorrow BE092A64-E475-4305-A187-7B7E4FCC966E.png
Is it possible to add decals on top of the dipped parts before clear coat?

Yes griffo46
You can put another hydro film over the first one
( double dip ) I also see liquid concepts did a Maserati bonnet interior in red candy carbon with the Maserati logo in gold … it looked stunning. I’m hoping to do something on the inside of the bonnet myself at some point

Looks great!! Is there an information source you have used as a guide? Apparently, there's a lot of steps to Hydro dipping, from cleaning, scuffing, adhesion priming, dipping, washing, clear coat, curing... If you don't mind sharing, what's the methods/products you are using?

Hi Christopher72
I’ve just been watching you tube videos and leaning by practicing on none important bits of plastic until I’m confident enough with the specific film … it’s a learning curve for sure . I’m getting all my products from a company called hydro style. If you decide to have a go … let us know how you get on . You tube is your friend… especially the ( liquid concept) ones

Just finished the clear gloss clear coat on the carbon . I’ll leave it at least a couple of days before it goes back on the engine

Not sure about rich 😂 I intend to keep the pricing low compared to some of the outrageous quotes I had . After seeing the carbon mirror covers thread , I’d best get a pair done and put them on here 😂
