Whisky
About five years ago I won a bottle of whisky at a function
It was a brand I’d never heard of and it has just been stored in the corner - until the other night - I had a wee dram and it was very nice to say the least!
I cannot determine how much it cost as they don’t put dates on the bottle.
Has anyone got any clues please?
I’m getting prices between £90 and £290
I’m not going to be putting any of that into my hot milk!

This is the trouble I’m having- it tastes good and nothing like a cheap mouth wash. Some sites have it marked at nearly £300 yet some at £30
There’s nothing on the bottle to mark it up or down the financial scale.

You could always put it in an upmarket whiskey bottle to make it feel you are drinking more expensive whiskey. But you would need to empty the bottle first to do this, win, win.

What a brilliant idea , the next time I’m down at the bottle recycle centre I’ll have a rummage through for a few decent bottles then I can refill with cheep teachers (other brands are available) and then display on my drinks cabinet and serve all my unsuspecting friends, oh thinking about it he doesn’t like whiskey , cheers anyway

Problem with whisky values online is that almost anything that is difficult to get hold of now, regardless of quality, gets put up on whisky exchanges for £hundreds.
Haven’t come across this one. The colour is a bit shocking, but it sounds decent for the £25 it was on offer for at Tesco for a while (don’t mean that in a bad way - you can still get fantastic whisky under £40).

It might be a Lidl's brand.

All whisky tastes like petrol to me. Roughly the same cost too nowadays.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

You clearly aren't an aficionado - whisky is Scotch, whiskey is Irish!
