But at least you weren't hurt. I hope you get a decent insurance settlement.
I can understand why you wouldn't want to keep it after that but maybe someone will be able to keep it on the road.

The incident occurred last Wednesday about 200yards from our house. Another car pulled out on me, absolutely nothing I could do. I didn't even have time to apply the brakes. No one was hurt.
Just had the insurance on telling me they have had to write the car off. The engineers sounded genuinely gutted too. He had asked for more pictures and details of the damage, so clearly it was border line, hence it had taken a week before they came back to me.
Any way no one hurt and the insurance are paying about what I would think the car is worth. So I have the option to buy another. For now I will just get over it. Then see how things are.

The next owner of my Z4MC wrote it off within weeks and although it wasn't mine anymore I was gutted.
