Greatest shame is she never had chance to enjoy retirement

Way things are going unsure I’ll ever get there either

Maybe a blessing in disguise to join the one you love rather than live the last part of life without them

Yesterday, humanity lost a remarkable woman. My condolences to the subjects of the Commonwealth. She was an inspiration for the whole world!

I have felt emotional all day. It is as if my Granny has died. If only our politicians he had her integrity, the country would not be broken.
RIP HM Queen Elizabeth.

Yes you are right, that’s how I feel. Really odd.

I'm not sure why but this has brought back memories of when my Mum passed away at 98 in November 2020.

The end of a generation I suppose.

It's not like me to feel sadness over some one passing. I have always been a pragmatist. Yet I feel a loss. God Bless Ma'am you will be missed by the world you leave behind.

My partner’s treatment is tomorrow at St Bart’s, so we came up a day early (Sunday) to be able to attend the event in London today.

I’m not a Royalist, but can only respect the Queen’s commitment to serving the country so well for so many years.

Glad we came up for it, surreal and moving experience.

Well done you.
Watched it on TV and the bit where the piper faded into the distance seemed like the moment she actually left. Very well done.

By the way. Did anyone else notice the size of the 6 navy ratings in front of the coffin?
Either everyone else was purposely picked to be below average height or those six were giants!

Watched the service all afternoon and she had a fitting service not that I'm into that sort of thing. The lone pipers did it for me though, I felt that was very moving as my dad and my brother played the pipes but sadly both no longer with us.
RIP the queen.
