I originally order a full set of aftermarket badge (front, rear, and four wheel caps) which just costs around £20 but is still somewhere around the world at sea. Since I hit the poor bird, I simply let the local dealer fit the genuine badges and enjoy the look earlier. Once those aftermarket badge arrives, I will replace the wheel caps as well.
so does that mean you have spare aftermarket badges?
You mean the front and rear badges? Yes I have. But one of them has a dent caused by other objects in the same box hit the badge.

Give it some time, I bet I can find someone do that from where I got mine.

Nothing to sorry about. It's a set and only cost less than £20. Also, I've got the pieces I need so don't care whether there is any damage to the other two badges. :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed:

The 50 year anniversary badges , are they self adhesive, or do they have 2 plastic prongs on the back.?

Also how easy are they OEM badges to remove.?

I realise the wheel centres are easy to fit, its just the bonnet and boot badges ...

Not too easy if you haven't tried this before. When the dealer's bodyshop did mine, they even scratched the paint around the badge. I have to re-do the 2 stage polish then redo the ceramic coating to the top part of the front bumper where the badge sits. Also, by checking the dashcam footage, it seems they were struggling to get the front off due to the 2 plastic prongs on the back and they had to unscrew the bolts holding the top of the bumper and push it out from behind.

There are quite a few you tube videos of how best to remove them TBH.

I found the best way is to mask around the badge, then using an old credit card or thin piece of rigid plastic slowly lever the edges all the way round. Once the self adhesive tape starts to 'give' I got a very thin screwdriver in and levered them off. I put masking tape around the screwdriver too just in case.

Are these just for the round badges or also the M stripes on boot & sides?

Just looked it up to avoid being called lazy - bonnet, boot & wheels £330 fitted. Just bought brand new original style badges for bonnet & boot :headbang:

Mine's in the paint shop now. I've owned it since new in '06 so it's getting a bit of tlc which is why I got original BMW badges for around £40 each. If I'd known about these I might have got them....wonder if Warwick BMW do sale or return?? :D
