Date of posts on this forum

Post by tonyg » Fri Aug 19, 2022 12:16 am

I’m sure I’m being daft, but I’m really struggling to see the dates of posts on this forum. If I’m searching for a particular topic obviously it can be useful to know if the post/discussion was from last week or 10 years ago. Is there an option I’ve missed to easily see when a post was added to this board?
Thanks in advance, Tony

What platform are you viewing the forum on?

I use Chrome on my PC and Android. On both of those the date and time of each and every post shows up plain as day under the post Title, to the right of the name on the poster.

Click on your name at top of forum page and select user control panel. Click on board preferences and set date format . That should work

You sir, are a genius. I've been struggling with this ever since I joined and thought it was just a quirk of the forum that there was no date

Thank you for all the responses about this. Big thanks to 1536Z4 for solving this mystery - I can now see the date perfectly whether using my laptop or my phone. :)

Thank you! Was a problem for me too. All good now.
Just a thought -- When I tried to complete that setting after registering, the date format options did not appear when selecting the option box so I just moved on. Perhaps there was a glitch. There was no indication that it would result in this issue. Maybe there could be an automatic default date format to start with. It could be later customized as one wishes, so at least there is a date showing when setting up a new account. Just saying. Thanks again!

Been called a lot worse than a quirk. Still, that's Fiancée's for you.
