They've got an excuse for having drought conditions. Las Vegas is built in a desert! Here, if doesn't rain every other day, there's a feckin water shortage!

Also there is also no such thing as a water shortage. Water doesn't disappear, it can just be in the wrong place at the wrong time for the people that need it at that moment. Good water management is the key IMHO, something (else) we are not good at in this Country. Too many shareholders to pay!

I could wash the bike and plan a day out on it, always guarantees rain.

Nice to know that 95-97% of the rainwater has now been deposited into the sea. Anybody had a brilliant idea yet of preventing that from happening? :x

I went down to my favourite fishing spot on one of the drains earlier to check out the water conditions as I want to fish tomorrow and it has been crap during the hot dry weather.
Water levels have risen back higher than they were in early June.....since Tuesday! Levels were down about 8-12 inches as of last week.

I noticed an empty plant pot in the garden earlier. It was empty on Monday, it's now full to the brim; it's 9 inches deep! That's incredible! :o
