It looks like there is a spot for a rear trim cover (there's a T20 threaded hole even for a screw) but I couldn't fine the part on realoem or on any online photos of the seats. Am I missing this little seat cover or were they never there to begin with? Seats are BMW E85 M sport seats

Mine are the same, no trim on the middle corners. You really have to have the seats out to notice that.

Sweet. Thank you to you both for confirming. Yeah, I know no one is going to see it, but the screw holes really threw me off. Just making sure I wasn't missing anything.
