Every now and again the brush-heads seem to be on special offer at my local Tesco.

Although I have discovered Tesco own-brand universal brush-heads fit a Braun!

I got home from holiday and found all my documentation on the computer- to make a claim on the warranty was a cumbersome affair - not a very simple process to say the least.

The claims process with Philips was heavily reliant on having registered the product and having a copy of the purchase receipt.
I would say that if any element was missing they wouldn’t entertain the claim.

If you have any Philips products I suggest you keep and copy your documentation.

Apparently the new unit has been shipped by UPS they tell me it will arrive on Thursday this week.

I will see how Long this one lasts!

Mines coming tomorrow, just before the postal strike

Didn't have a shave yesterday or today just to give it a good test when it arrives.

Remember to keep a copy of the purchase docs
They were happy with jpeg Scans

My replacement : arrived today- I posted the dud off to them last Friday so they have replaced it in only six days.

I bought the units May 1st as a boxed pair but to date only one had failed. The replacement is a boxed pair with all the accessories again, so now I have a spare unit along with a. Additional chargers, travel case and new toothbrush heads

Definitely not!

Because the previous units haven’t been particularly reliable or long lasting, I’m stashing it away ready to go when No 2 fails.
