Anyone know if this will work with the rear ball joints on our cars?

Looks more like a drift to remove a bearing or bush. Ball joints usually require a splitter tool.

Thank you - the rear ball joints are pressed into te trailing arm, like a bush.

Without any measurements it's very tricky for anyone to say.

I would (/ did) get one of the big sets with different sized bits.

Or you can use a ball joint press and some sockets...
